Notice Gallery, Deptford, looking warm and inviting on a typical English summer dayThursday evenings event went very well in real life at Notice Gallery, and in Second Life at Virtual Haidplatz, Odyssey. AOM were on top form and premiered two pieces as part of their set. Fau Ferdinand and Gazira Babeli's All n00bs are Sailors was fun, beautiful and terrifying! We were interrupted towards the end of the evening by the rolling restart, which meant that Douglas Story's installation, Chambers and Landscapes did not get the attention it deserved. Luckily Douglas has promised to get up very early on Saturday to show us round his work.

I was unable to take many RL photos myself once everything started, but as I write this post, the first photos taken by guests and helpers at the show are appearing in my in-box, so expect some in the next blog post! when I return, we travel up in the yellow pod teleporter to Douglas Story's Chambers and Landscapes. We have only been here a couple of minutes when the dreaded "rolling restart" hits Odyssey and we are forced to scatter to avoid being logged out.
I briefly teleport home to NCI Plaza and spend a few minutes answering questions from the RL audience on the nuts and bolts of Second Life until Odyssey reopens...
